I love art from the 1800s and early 1900s, especially the Victorian era. I've been collecting vintage books, magazines and postcards for over 25 years and have a huge collection. I spend hours professionally scanning, cleaning up and restoring the beautiful art from my books before saving it digitally. Sometimes I even add a touch of color to black & white images, but always strive to keep it subtle and in keeping with the period.
I enjoy seeing people use the restored art in creative ways and offer the images for very affordable prices to encourage this. I discovered the art of printing on textiles in 2002 and have designed quilts, silk scarves, pillows, wall hangings and more showcasing my restored vintage images. I also teach adults and children how to print on fabric through classes at local community colleges and at International Quilt Festivals.
