In Silkfair > My Store Profile (https://secure.silkfair.com/mysilk/store), sellers can set up reusable templates Pricing Profiles, Shipping Profiles and Tax Profiles to make it easier to create and maintain listings.  Each profile is a template, and the purpose of the templates are so that when you create multiple listings of similar attributes, you can save the effort in having to re-key the same things in over and over across multiple listings.

So, for example, let's say that you want to sell 5 different kinds of widgets such as mattress, each with an attribute type of Size, where you want to charge Twin size for 1 price, Queen Size for another price, and King Size for a third price.  You can create a Pricing Profile to accomodate those 3 varying sizes, and either create 1 listing for all 5 different types of mattresses, or 5 separate listings, but ease the definition of the sizes by selecting the Pricing Profile at the time of listing creation.

Here is an example :  let's say that you are selling 10 different kinds of mailing address labels :
60 (6 Sheets) LARGE Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - $10
480 (48 Sheets) Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - $70
240 (24 Sheets) Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - $37
120 (12 Sheets) Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - $19.20
30 (3 Sheets) LARGE Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - $5
480 (16 Sheets) Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - $40
240 (8 Sheets) Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - $22
120 (4 Sheets) Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - $12
60 (2 Sheets) Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - 47
30 (1 Sheet) Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo - $3.5

In Silkfair, by setting up the price profile template, you only need to create and maintain 1 listing instead of 10 different listings.  If you want 10 different listings still, you can still do that.

A sample profile has been created in http://www.sandboxsf.com to accommodate this has been set up .  The sample includes the following :
1 - a Price Option template
2 - a Shipping template
3 - a Tax template

So, please try this to see :

1 - go to http://www.sandboxsf.com  -  this is a test sandbox area.

2 - log in as userID : seller , password : seller

3 - on the top menu next to where the seller ID label is located, click on My Store / and then click on Manage My Store

4 - Scroll down the Store Profile, and you'll see Pricing Profile section.  There are 2 profiles set.  Click on the 2nd one named "Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo", and you can see a sample.  You don't need to do anything here.  If you want it, you can export this profile by clicking on the 'export button' located a little bit below the Priceing Profile label section.  You can then import it back into your own store profile in http://www.silkfair.com

5 - We selected the Price Attribute "Type".  If you don't like that label, you can select "custom", and then make your own attribute name.

6 - Scroll further down in the Store Profile, and you'll see Tax Profile.  We created the profile "no taxes" for your example.  Again, you can export/import this profile template if you wish.

7 - Scroll a bit further down, and you'll see Shipping Profile.  We created the profile "Custom Mailing Address Labels Promo".  You can also export/import this profile template.

NOTE :

You can select a price profile or shipping profile or tax profile to be the default. So, when you create a new listing, the default selection for price / shipping / tax will be automatically selected and filled in for your new listing. Of course, you can over-ride any of these options any time.

Just played with adding your listing to shopping cart, and it works.  You need to remember to type in your Ship-To address during the checkout process, and then you'll see the Shipping Charge appear , and then the order total will be re-calculated.

Go to https://secure.silkfair.com/mysilk/store

Right next to each profile name you create (think of them as templates), you should be able to see text links "remove" and "set as default".  Just click on "set as default" on the template that contains the values you have set that is suitable for your business.
