Setting up PayPal payment methods

Set up PayPal account.
There are 3 PayPal methods that a seller can offer in Silkfair. 1) - PayPal Email, 2) - PayPal Standard, 3) - PayPal ExpressCheckout
The following are the differences and requirements for each of the 3 options.
1) PayPal Email - a basic PayPal acct is needed. All instructions for payment are issued by seller directly, and Silkfair system doesn't integrate with PayPal for payment. This is a good option for sellers who wants to issue invoices and instructions directly to buyers.

To update any existing listings, just go into each item listing after the PayPal configurations are set, and click on Payment Options to select PayPal.
So... what is this "sandbox" setting that's been left disabled? If you have established a PayPal sandbox account, then you can substitute with that account ID in your PayPal setting in your Store Profile in Silkfair, and enable "Sandbox" setting, and test against PayPal sandbox. Please note that the API permission will then need to change within the PayPal sandbox from "paypal88_api1.silkfair.com" to "paypal_api1.silkfair.com".
NOTE: Paypal88_api1.silkfair.com is for your real activated store and that paypal_api1.silkfair.com is the code for testing in the sandbox mode.
NOTE - added July 15, 2008 : Due to a number of real orders made under Sandbox, we're disabling the sandbox testing feature. Any sandbox-enabled gateways for store accounts will be reverted to real gateways (sandbox-disabled). All sellers should check the pay options in Store profile and listings. Any previously sandbox-enabled pay options will need to be re-verified and re-enabled for pay option.
